Our team recently completed one of the most challenging ship supply operations for M.V. Global Nova, a project that continued for Twice week from 25/06/2026 – 09/07/2026 and required close coordination between our Supply, Logistics, Customs Clearance, and Agency Departments.
The vessel’s requirements covered a wide range of marine supplies, including:
- Medical stores
- Safety equipment
- Marine spare parts
- Deck stores
- Galley supplies
- Fire Fighting Equipment (FFE)
- Life Saving Appliances (LSA)
- IMO signs and statutory items
- Stationery
- Transit parcels requiring customs clearance
The requisition consisted of a large number of difficult-to-source items, with many supply groups containing more than 20 different products. Several specialized marine items were not readily available in the local market, making this a particularly demanding operation.
From the beginning, our Supply Team worked continuously to locate the required products while our Logistics Department coordinated transportation and our Agency Department handled customs formalities and the clearance of transit parcels. Every department worked simultaneously to ensure that all deliveries were completed before the vessel’s departure.
Despite the complexity of the requisition, we successfully supplied approximately 90% of the requested items, exceeding the owner’s expectations. The vessel owner expressed surprise that such a large and diverse order could be sourced and delivered within the limited time available.
One of the transit parcels experienced a delay due to late dispatch from India and incomplete documentation. Nevertheless, our team closely monitored the shipment, coordinated with all parties involved, expedited the clearance process immediately upon arrival, and successfully delivered the parcel to the vessel just three hours before sailing.
This operation demonstrates our ability to manage complex marine procurement projects involving multiple departments, difficult sourcing, customs clearance, and time-critical deliveries.
