Major Multi-Department Supply Operation Successfully Completed for M.V. Global Nova

Most challenging ship supply operations for M.V. Global Nova, Our team recently completed one of the most challenging ship supply operations for M.V. Global Nova, a project that continued for Twice week from 25/06/2026 – 09/07/2026 and required close coordination between our Supply, Logistics, Customs Clearance, and Agency Departments. The vessel’s requirements covered a wide range of marine supplies, including: The requisition consisted of a large number of difficult-to-source items, with many supply groups containing more than 20 different products. Several specialized marine items were not readily available in the local market, making this a particularly demanding operation. From the beginning, our Supply Team worked continuously to locate the required products while our Logistics Department coordinated transportation and our Agency Department handled customs formalities and the clearance of transit parcels. Every department worked simultaneously to ensure that all deliveries were completed before the vessel’s departure. Despite the complexity of the requisition, we successfully supplied approximately 90% of the requested items, exceeding the owner’s expectations. The vessel owner expressed surprise that such a large and diverse order could be sourced and delivered within the limited time available. One of the transit parcels experienced a delay due to late dispatch from India and incomplete documentation. Nevertheless, our team closely monitored the shipment, coordinated with all parties involved, expedited the clearance process immediately upon arrival, and successfully delivered the parcel to the vessel just three hours before sailing. This operation demonstrates our ability to manage complex marine procurement projects involving multiple departments, difficult sourcing, customs clearance, and time-critical deliveries. At Jeddah Shipchandler, we are committed to delivering reliable 24/7 marine supply solutions, even for the most challenging vessel requirements.

M.V Almothanna Successful Ship Supply Operation at Jizan Port, Saudi Arabia

Emergency Vessel Supply Successfully Completed at Jazan Port Following Last-Minute Port Change What began as a routine supply operation at Jeddah Port quickly turned into one of the most challenging emergency deliveries our team has handled. The vessel was originally scheduled to receive stores at Jeddah Port. However, after waiting at anchorage for more than one month due to severe port congestion, the port authorities redirected the vessel to Jazan Port, located approximately 800 km south of Jeddah. The vessel urgently required a full supply of provisions, including dry, chilled, fresh, and frozen food, together with marine spare parts. In addition, several transit spare parts arriving from the UAE and Istanbul, as well as Cash to Master (CTM) provided by the vessel’s owners, had already been arranged and could not be cancelled or delayed. On 23 July 2026 at 09:00 AM, the Master confirmed that the vessel had been allocated a berth at 2:00 PM the same day. This left our team with only a few hours to prepare a complete supply operation. The challenge was significant: Immediately after receiving the confirmation, Savi Ship Supplies activated its emergency response plan. Our operations team worked simultaneously on multiple tasks. A refrigerated truck was arranged to protect the fresh and frozen provisions during transportation through the Saudi summer, where temperatures exceeded 42°C. A second vehicle was assigned for general cargo and transit spare parts. At the same time, one of our representatives travelled separately by car to Jazan to coordinate with the port authorities, customs officials, and security personnel, obtain all required gate permits, and carry the Cash to Master for delivery onboard. Despite the extremely limited preparation time, our team successfully sourced, packed, and loaded the complete order, including: Throughout the operation, our logistics and operations teams remained in constant communication to ensure every stage was completed on schedule. At approximately 11:00 PM on 23 July, our refrigerated truck arrived at Jazan Port and the delivery operation commenced. During the early hours of 24 July 2026, all provisions, transit cargo, technical stores, and Cash to Master were successfully delivered to the vessel. The Master expressed his appreciation and surprise that such a complex operation could be completed within such a short timeframe despite the sudden change of port and the operational challenges involved. This successful mission demonstrates Savi Ship Supplies’ ability to respond rapidly to unexpected operational changes, manage complex logistics, and deliver reliable ship chandling services throughout Saudi Arabia.
